Battle Bend Springs is a community-oriented neighborhood in the heart of South Austin. Named a "well-kept secret" within the city, Battle Bend Springs is nestled just south of the St. Elmo Arts District and bordered by South Congress Avenue, I-35, Ben White Blvd, and Stassney Ln.

Originally made up of rural farms on the southern edge of Austin, Battle Bend Springs was first developed into a residential neighborhood in the early 1970s as the city's population and city limits expanded. While other developments were added nearby in the following decades, "Battle Bend Springs" has become shorthand for the entire neighborhood between Sheraton Ave. and Battle Bend Blvd. in South Austin.
