Battle Bend Springs

Join your fellow neighbors and other community volunteers for one of our quarterly creek cleanups in the Williamson Creek Greenbelt. Our corner of Williamson Creek is a neighborhood natural gem as it flows through South Austin on its way to McKinney Falls. Regular creek cleanups are a way to preserve our city's natural beauty through litter pickup, invasive species control, native grass and wildflower seeding, tree planting, and stormwater management.

This year's Fall Creek Cleanup will take place the morning of Sunday, November 10th from 9:00am-11:00am. We will meet at the Greenbelt entrance near 700 Barton Creek Blvd.

Our quarterly cleanups are organized in coordination with the Keep Austin Beautiful Adopt-a-Creek program. Keep Austin Beautiful helps to provide tools and gloves, but please feel free to bring your own gloves if you have them. Sturdy shoes and proper clothing are also strongly recommended.
